Grand Junction sits at the confluence of the Colorado and Gunnison rivers, surrounded by canyon country, high desert mesas, and the Book Cliffs. It's an hour from Telluride, two from Moab, and the cost of living is a fraction of the Front Range.
People come for the trails and stay for the pace. The commute is measured in minutes, not hours. You can buy a house with a yard. Powderhorn is a 45-minute drive. The farmers market runs from May through October.
This site is my attempt to document all of it honestly, the way a neighbor would.
